in the fresh new box!
Damn.
I’ve been working my arse off* for the past three weeks trying to get a referendum passed here in the small town of Deeteeville.
The voting was today, & at 2130 this evening I got a call from one of my co-conspirators… FAIL!
By TWO votes. 2!!!!
If I had only made one more call…
Damn, damn, doubledamn.
*Figuratively, so no pics.
Big lines at the polls here

Hey DT,
I think I might be one of those who voted against your cause--assuming I have the right town.
It's not that I didn't think it was a plausible plan, but more that all the info I saw was posted from a PO box in a neighboring town populated bt beautiful people with a wicked high tax rate caused by people voting for all the services they left behind in Boston, NYC, etc.
Second reason was that a bunch of the towns with that method of spending their cash were trying to go back to a regular TM because the same characters at TM were the only ones who showed up for the deliberative session. In my mind, that leaves a bunch of uninformed people voting on articles and we end up with Jeanne Shaheen in the senate.
Feel free to drop me a line to challenge my assumptions.

Howdy Farmer-
Well, your coords indicate you're a tad too far away to have voted in my town.
However, while I understand your position, & have heard similar arguments, I still believe the advantages far outweigh any negs.
I'm no friend of JS, mind you, but should we allow only voters who have met & listened to her to vote in an election?
It's all about voter education IMO.
