Ever had a cool, tall, ice filled Tanguay & Tonic on a warm summer's night after a crappy, hot, work day?
Yeah, me neither, but this cheap gin should work OK.
(Is Polar a good brand? I thought they made soda...)

Doubletrouble, you know I have nothing but respect for you . . . but gin is icky. Pine tar, fleh! :)
Hendrick's is supposed to be the best, but is something like $45/bottle. Yikes.
I've never been one for the G&T. Tho Polar Tonic water is quite good.
I do love me a Tom Collins made with Polar Lemon-Lime and Beefeater.
I make Martinis from Tanqueray No. TEN, but for mixed drinks I see nothing wrong with the no-frills Beefeater. It tastes like gin should tastes, nothing more, nothing less!
I find that it's a toss-up between Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray for a good G&T.
All the same, have someone make a Caiperinha for you. Best...drink...ever
What's next, you gonna be putting little umbrellies in your drinks?
