Cal-i-fornya- here- I- come...

..right back to where... I never wanted to go in the first place.

BUT, the boy & his lovely bride have decided that is where they will be married.

Plane tickets, check (thanks Jersey Girl!).
Hotel reservations, check. (as above).

Now- anyone know of the carry laws out there? I'm not taking boomsticks here; I believe that is right out.
How about cutlery? Anyone have any FIRST HAND knowledge they could share? Can I carry my 4" AFCK there? Or does it have to be a teeny tiny Gerber folder?

I did an intraweb search, but I've become a tad leery of accepting crap I find there.

I mean, I saw it on the web, it MUST be true, right?

Help me Obi-Wantertubes...

Oooo, I'm sorry. You're breaking my Life Rule #5, "Don't set foot in California." I know, I know, real helpful advice...

bs- When I fly over your house, I'll throw a beer bottle out the window, so you can get all "Gods Must be Crazy" about it.
But you'll know it was me.

I believe the best thing to carry is a number of cheap wallets with one-dollar bills. When a thug - government or free-lance - tries to grab your money, throw a diversionary wallet and run like hell.

Small knife... no gun... sigh...

Every city and county is different and has their own "standard" and it will vary by which cop you talk to with little regard to the actual written law. State bans concealed carry of 'daggers and dirks'as I recall. Generally most folders get by. Just skip the Gil Hibbens artsy knives

My mother-in-law lives in California and I have still never been...

Now that I have typed that, it doesn't exactly send the message I had intended.

Hey I'm stuck here, still it beats Jersey or some other places. We're workinbg on fixin' things as fast as the Ecotards are wrecking them.

I carry a Benchmade AFCK with about a 4" blade, and i think it is BARELY legal... Hope that is good for you. (I hope I'm not too late!)
