Ayuh- been reloading for thutty years, but I still occasionally buy some factory fodder.
But you can bet your arse that handloads will be in service for any social occasion, nanny state issues about same be damned.

Is that the primer seated too deep....or is there no primer and no flash-hole???

There is no flash hole in the case. The primer ignited & just popped out of the case, fluging up everything.
It has a R-P headstamp.

Actually, not sure. I shoot a lot of "loose" ammo, so I'm not sure of which type of R-P ammo it is. It does look like plinkin' ammo though- FMJTC.
