Vman- Ayuh- been reloading for thutty years, but I still occasionally buy some factory fodder. But you can bet your arse that handloads will be in service for any social occasion, nanny state issues about same be damned.
Mike- Actually, not sure. I shoot a lot of "loose" ammo, so I'm not sure of which type of R-P ammo it is. It does look like plinkin' ammo though- FMJTC.

I can't exactly see what the story with that one is.
Is that the primer seated too deep....or is there no primer and no flash-hole???

There is no flash hole in the case. The primer ignited & just popped out of the case, fluging up everything.
It has a R-P headstamp.
